Model smilingFeminine aesthetics is an intimate topic, and we know that it can be a delicate subject to discuss with a stranger. But this rapidly growing area of women’s health has changed so many lives for the better that we encourage you to share your concerns with us. We can offer help!

During a consultation, we try to make you as comfortable as possible. We have some special protocols in place to make our [link pid=”501″]feminine rejuvenation[/link] patients feel more at ease. Our specialist in these procedures, Dr. Samir Rao, always has a nurse with him during consultations. All of the conversations during these meetings are kept in the strictest confidence, so you don’t need to be concerned about compromising your privacy.

Women are often reassured when they hear that they aren’t alone in wishing to reverse the negative effects of childbirth, weight loss, or hormonal changes. Genetic issues may also prompt some women to seek feminine rejuvenation. From 2011 to 2012, the number of women who underwent these procedures increased by nearly two-thirds, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Whether your concerns are cosmetic or functional, we offer labiaplasty to restore self-confidence in intimate settings or allow for normal daily activities such as exercise.

The labiaplasty procedure treats enlarged or misshapen labia, the lips surrounding the vagina. Large labia sometimes cause discomfort during intercourse or force a woman to avoid wearing certain types of tight clothing, including swimsuits or exercise wear. Exercise itself can often be uncomfortable and hygiene may be compromised. This procedure can improve both the size and shape of the labia and is performed on an outpatient basis, with a short recovery time of less than week. This procedure does not affect the vagina itself.

Dr. Rao has a special interest in feminine rejuvenation and introduced these procedures to our practice when he joined us in 2013. The surgical approach is unique to each woman’s needs. To schedule a private meeting with Dr. Rao and his nurse to discuss your concerns, please contact our office.
