By adjusting the BBL handpiece to a higher wavelength, we can destroy hair follicles in the growth phase, thus reducing the growth of unwanted hair with no downtime. We can use BBL nearly anywhere you want smoother, hair-free skin, such as:

Because this treatment uses BBL technology, your eyes will need to be protected with specialized eyepieces to ensure no damage is done by the laser and light energy. Your aesthetician will then apply the handpiece to the treatment area (which are most commonly the face, underarms, legs, bikini area, chest, and back). The length of your treatment can depend on factors like how many areas are being treated and how much hair exists, although it can usually take around an hour. The procedure feels similar to being “snapped” with a rubber band. We understand that everyone’s pain tolerance is different, though, and your comfort is our highest priority.

Your recovery period is minimal with this procedure because it’s non-invasive. You can return to your regular activities immediately, although there may be some redness or irritation at the treatment area. The hair can begin to thin or fall out after the first treatment but may continue to grow until the follicle is effectively treated by multiple sessions. This can be subjective to your unique anatomy and hair growth patterns, and your aesthetician will help you create a treatment plan during your consultation. Treatments are generally scheduled four to six weeks apart.
