We are writing to address a recent notice some patients may have received from their insurance company (such as Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and others) stating that the Center for Plastic Surgery is no longer a participating provider. Please be assured that this information is incorrect.
This confusion occurred due to a recent update to our practice’s Tax ID, which led certain insurance companies to mistakenly notify patients that we were no longer participating providers. The insurance companies have acknowledged this error and should be sending a follow-up letter retracting that statement.
We want to confirm that all providers at the Center for Plastic Surgery — Dr. Rao, Dr. Fleury, Dr. Albino, and Dr. Kanuri — remain participating providers with your insurance. We sincerely apologize for any confusion or concern this may have caused. If you have any questions or would like additional clarification, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
