I would like to share my experience with Dr. Albino, who has performed several surgeries for me over the years. From my very first procedure, I have felt that I was in caring and capable hands. I truly appreciate his attention to detail, his professionalism, and the way he takes the time to listen to what I want and discuss my concerns. Having multiple procedures done by the same surgeon says a lot about the trust I have developed in him and his work. I have been very pleased with my experiences and would definitely recommend Dr. Albino to anyone considering plastic surgery. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Albino and his entire team. From placing my tissue expanders after cancer to preparing for my upcoming reconstruction, his attention to detail is truly beyond measure. Every member of his staff has been kind, caring, professional, responsive, and incredibly supportive. They consistently go above and beyond to make what can be an overwhelming and emotional experience feel easier and more manageable. You can tell that the compassion and excellence Dr. Albino brings to his patients is reflected throughout his entire team. During an experience that can be physically and emotionally overwhelming, Dr. Albino and his team have given me confidence and reassurance at every stage. I never feel rushed or like just another patient. I feel heard, cared for, and completely confident that I am in the best possible hands. His combination of surgical expertise, precision, professionalism, compassion, and an outstanding team is truly rare. I am incredibly grateful to have Dr. Albino as my surgeon and am looking forward to having him complete my reconstruction. I would highly recommend CPS but especially Dr Albino. I met with Dr Albino to get a 2nd opinion and after the consultation we scheduled surgery. I found him to be honest, kind, caring and confident in his abilities. These attributes made me less anxious about my surgery. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

I came to Dr. Albino from another local surgeon, hoping to get a more encouraging second opinion after a double mastectomy and breast cancer treatment. Not only did I get an encouraging second opinion, my results are far greater than anything I expected. My reconstruction journey started with expanders, and for months I heard "you won't love your results but you'll be ok with them one day," and this was hard to grasp. I couldn't imagine looking in the mirror and seeing the remnants of cancer for the rest of my life. Dr. Albino gave me so much hope and optimism that I could be happy with my results. I had an implant and fat grafting revision with Dr. Albino almost 3 weeks ago, and I am thrilled with everything! Not only am I ok, I love the way I look. I feel like me again. I have recommended him to everyone I know, and cannot sing his praises enough. He is meticulous and professional, but has amazing bedside manner and true compassion for this difficult journey. The office staff is pleasant, and Heather has responded to about 80 emails from me without a single complaint. I am so grateful for this practice that gave me my confidence and my body back. Making the difficult decision of having a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy was one of the toughest decisions of my life. The idea of a mastectomy felt like a loss but one of my first-degree relatives was diagnosed with breast cancer and family history research revealed my risk was high so I knew I had to move quickly. However, the uncertainty of what I would look like after the surgery was extremely stressful. I consider myself a strong woman so it was difficult to admit to myself that no matter how strong I thought I could be, the results of a reconstruction had the potential to affect my self-esteem & self-confidence for the rest of my life. I had a fantastic breast surgeon but was concerned about who to use for the breast reconstruction. My breast surgeon referred me to Dr. Albino, a plastic surgeon that specializes in post-mastectomy breast reconstruction. Dr. Albino and his team created a calm and confident space. During the initial consultation, he explained all of my reconstruction options. Each question was answered and I never felt rushed to make any decision. I was shown before-and-after photos so I had an idea of what to expect. The approach felt like collaboration, with my emotional well-being and desired outcome at the forefront. The results were life-changing for me. I consider Dr. Albino’s work to be artistic. The new breasts are beautifully shaped and symmetrical. They also feel natural. The scars from the mastectomy and reconstruction surgeries are well-hidden. The compassionate care made a difference. The staff was kind, attentive, and reassuring. I have an unusual pain medication tolerance that requires higher doses for pain control and there was absolutely no judgement from him or his office. What started as a possible breast reduction surgical procedure to help with chronic back pain sadly became more complicated. I learned that I carry an unknown genetic mutation increasing my risk for breast, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers. I went from interviewing doctors to hiring one. After multiple consultations around the DC & Northern VA areas, I felt certain in my choice. For anyone facing a similarly complex and emotional decision, I would strongly recommend considering Dr. Frank Albino. What ultimately helped me make a decision was speaking with a few recently retired operating room nurses I knew that worked where my consultants practiced. Although they had not worked directly with my choices, they remained connected to colleagues who had. When asked who they would see for a reconstruction post-mastectomy, the response was 100% consistent and immediate: Dr. Albino. He was described as respectful, exceptionally skilled, highly educated, efficient, and—most notably—deeply kind. After meeting him myself, I found those descriptions to be entirely accurate. Dr. Albino is transparent, supportive, reassuring, and empathetic. He has a remarkable ability to take complex, fragmented information and synthesize it into a clear and thoughtful plan. His approach is both analytical and compassionate. In comparison to other offices, his stood out for its responsiveness. Calls were returned promptly, and communication was reliable. I’m indebted to Heather, Niya, Cameron, and many others for their continued guidance and compassion. The office was in constant communication through the entire process to make sure nothing was missed, especially with all my many questions and concerns. The act of scheduling the plastic surgeon, oncology surgeon, hospital, operating room, handling the insurance company, paperwork, pre-op & post-op exams and more went very smoothly on my end BECAUSE of them. I am so very grateful. Lastly, after meeting with the oncology surgeon, she was very happy to know that she would be working alongside Dr Albino. Dr. Albino of The Center for Plastic Surgery completely changed my life. I had a breast reduction mid January of this year after wanting one for so many years. I am a breast cancer reconstruction patient. And this review is for the benefit of my fellow pink sisters. I found Dr. Albino on my own after having an extremely traumatizing experience with another plastic surgeon. Dr. Albino is really amazing. He is so nice and compassionate, and he listened to me and honored my requests on what I wanted done, but he also came up with his own ideas about things that could benefit me, which wowed me, as I had no idea at all about my options. To be honest with you, I'm really shocked at how nice he was to me because I wasn't used to doctors being nice to me. He also acted as my cheerleader. He was genuinely excited that the surgery was a success and rallied for me every step of the way. He even called me after surgery to check in --- no other MD has ever called me before, not the oncologist, not the breast surgeon and certainly not the last plastic surgeon. I'm still shocked that I spoke with Dr. Albino on the actual phone --- and I wish he were my surgeon from the beginning because I'll probably never get over the trauma from the previous surgeon. So if you are a reconstruction patient and are weighing which doctor to go with, I recommend Dr. Albino. Dr. Albino will be the positive closure and healing part of your breast cancer nightmare so that you can move on with your life and be happy. I would never lie to a fellow breastie, as I know the pain we have to endure going through the breast cancer process. I look forward to working with Dr. Albino again at my next revision surgery, and I am grateful that he made time for me in his schedule.

I trust him with my life!!! Unfortunate circumstances led me to cross paths with Dr. Albino almost 4 years ago. He has constructed, reconstructed, and revised my chest more times than I care to count and every single time he does so with care and compassion that is truly one of a kind. Although many patients (including myself) are introduced to Dr. Albino for non elective procedures, I would chose him 10/10 times for any surgery moving forward. He puts patient care first and foremost but truly considers the patient’s wants and desires when deciding how to move forward in his procedures. I am the last person to ever expect to find myself in a plastic surgeon’s office. Breast cancer changed all that. After finishing chemotherapy, it was time for the surgical decisions. I opted for a double mastectomy, and reconstruction. I was referred to The Center for Plastic Surgery. I also talked with another breast cancer survivor, and a surgical nurse friend. As a prominent cancer specialist in the DC area, Albino was her top (and only) choice as a plastic surgeon for me and now I know why. His bedside manner is impeccable, to include calling me from his personal number the night of my surgery to check in and to ensure I had his number for any emergencies. His work is also unbelievable. Besides the usual stages of reconstruction and healing scars, you wouldn’t even be able to tell I had a thing done and I’m only a week out. He also reassured me that if overtime there are any changes or developments I did not like, he would ensure it is taken care of. Dr. Albino and his team were fantastic! I was referred to him by my best friend who underwent reconstructive surgery after breast cancer. He did a phenomenal job with her so when I decided that I wanted my silicone breast implants removed I knew I needed someone that could help me look my best and keep the surgery itself as minimal and non invasive as possible. My case was special because I had the implants since I was in my early 20's (I'm in my late 50's) and every doctor I consulted with told me to just leave them in! Even though I could feel the scar tissue, they felt like rocks. I had a significant weight loss last year which made the scar tissue even more pronounced. From the consultation to the day of surgery, I was well informed during the entire process. Dr. Albino and his team were upfront about cost, procedure and the results? My results are mind blowing, if I weren't for the incisions, you would never even know I had surgery! My downtime was nearly non existent (I was up and around the week after surgery) and I had zero issues....the majority of the swelling even went down in a few days! I cannot recommend him enough.

After years of living in pain from a previous breast reconstruction, Dr. Albino skillfully performed a breast revision surgery that has changed my quality of life tremendously. His staff were amazing and I’m incredibly grateful for my renewed life spirit thanks to the surgery, care and treatment that I received.

Dr. Albino is a gem. There are not enough stars I can leave to for him. He gets allllll the stars and then some! He did my breast reconstruction after my treatment for stage 3 cancer and he was the only bright spot in a long line of doctors that left me with a distaste for the health care system in America. He has it all. He makes you feel seen. And after dealing w a slew of doctors that just see you as a disease to treat or just another cancer patient, he made me feel seen as a human being and heard. He is a breath of fresh air. He has given me faith that there are still doctors that do what they do because they care and because they want to be good doctors. He looks you in the eyes, he is sincere and he goes above and beyond. He would come in on his days off to help when I developed a complication. He texted me the day I got home to see if I was ok. Not only is his bedside manner exceptional but that isn’t even the most impressive thing about him. He’s also an extremely talented surgeon. My procedure was very complicated as I chose to use a fairly new procedure that is complex and intricate using my own tissue for a more natural result. I’m only a few months out from my reconstruction and it looks better and better every day. Not to mention every doctor who has seen the results is impressed and I’m not even fully healed - that’s how you know a good doctor when other doctors are impressed. I don’t leave reviews especially for doctors - after dealing w cancer and the health care system for 2 years I am beyond disgusted at the American health care system. But I felt compelled to write this review for Dr. Albino because he is truly exceptional. I knew from the first appointment he was my doctor. And I never looked back. I adore him as a human being and respect his talent and skill as a doctor. I would trust him for any procedure and know I will be in amazing hands from beginning to end.

From my initial consult, pre-surgery appointment, day of surgery and post op appointments, I felt I was in good hands. I was very nervous during my first visit. I was in the process of switching plastic surgeons while in the middle of dealing with an upcoming breast surgery for breast cancer. Dr. Albino's work was excellent. The reason for my breast reduction was reconstruction from breast cancer surgery and after the scare of breast cancer I needed something to be excited and happy about. Well I can honestly say that the reconstruction/reduction and lift work that Dr. Albino did has made me very happy! My breast are beautiful. And the service/patient care provided by Dr. Albino, his staff and partners has been extraordinary!! As a patient you want the attention and care that they have been providing me from your medical professionals, but you don't really expect to receive it! At CPS I have been receiving top-notch post-op care which has only been exceeded by the care I received from them pre-surgery!!

All I can say is WOW!!!! My experience with Dr. Albino was incredible. My procedure was an abdominoplasty with Lipo, and the results are amazing! Dr. Albino is more than a surgeon, he is an artist. He is truly gifted in what he does. Truth be told, I had initially scheduled my breast reduction with Dr. Albino last year. I then promptly...chickened out. Fast forward to late this summer after my first mammogram. I reconsidered my decision to hold off on the surgery (that was already 30 years too late). I found my way back to Dr. Albino's office. I cannot say enough about the care that not only he provided to me, but his entire staff. From Pre-Op Nurse, :Lindsey to his Patient Coordinator, Shiloh, the time and overall quality of care that they provided to me was well, in a word, outstanding. And the results of the surgery? I could not be more pleased. To anyone out there reading this that has contemplated breast reduction surgery but for whatever reason has hesitated to make the appointment....don't be like me and wait. You can thank me later.

September 9, 2019 Dr. Frank Albino performed Diep Flap reconstruction. I had an AMAZING experience with him along with his staff. Today December 17, 2019 I have been back to CrossFit and normal workouts since November 1, 2019. I have been doing 400 crunches a day since December 1st and finish December 25th. I trust NO ONE else with doing my surgery and HIGHLY recommend Dr. Albino. There aren’t enough words to express my gratitude!!

I'm a two time breast cancer survivor. After a mastectomy, multi reconstructions, and radiation I developed an encapsulation contracture that was getting worse and worse, I found Dr. Albino for a DIEP Flap, through the guidance of my main plastic surgeon. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would! Dr. Albino has been working with my mom for the past several months. She had to have some reconstruction and he has made her feel brand new again. She is loving the results! He and the entire office staff are very charismatic and great to work with. In the words of my mom, "Thank you, Dr., you are an Angel!!" Dr. Frank Albino is a fantastic surgeon and person. He performed an abdominoplasty 2 months ago on me. I was a physical wreck due to having 4 children, all which were c-sections. I really felt like I would never have a body again. I was very nervous to pursue plastic surgery, but after diet & exercise, I was still left with major body issues. After doing lots of research, I decided to go for it. I went to my consult with Dr. Albino because he came highly recommended by a family member. He made me feel so comfortable right away and assured me he could give me great results. He delivered on his promise, and I am so thankful that I did this. He and his staff were great to work with. Mary, the office manager is kind and efficient, the nurses, especially Lindsay, were all helpful, pleasant, and put me at ease. I always felt comfortable and that my questions and concerns were taken seriously and answered. Post surgery, I am beyond thrilled with his work. I feel like I am no longer uncomfortable in clothing. I feel cleaner and healthier without all the hanging skin. As a bonus, I have noticed my back pain has decreased significantly, because I now have repaired abdominal muscles. Several years ago, I had gynecomastia surgery on my pecs that went well. I continued to try working on lingering belly fat for years after but between not giving up enough carbs and work stress, it wasn't going anywhere. After getting a quote from my former doctor, I did some research and found Dr Albino. I ended up scheduling the surgery on my stomach and flanks almost immediately after meeting him. A year later, I've been very happy with the results. His bedside manner is great, he was very accessible to me/checked in via text, and his prices were reasonable. I'd recommend him to a friend and would use him again.

If you want a surgeon that is kind, confident, does amazing work and articulate in explaining your surgery then STOP looking because you have found him! There is not enough room on Google for me to describe why he is the right fit for your cosmetic surgery. I have had many surgical procedures and cosmetic surgery is one of the most emotional. Dr. Albino will explain everything and has a very calm demeanor that puts you at ease that you are going to be in the right hands. Depending on the surgery you will see results immediately, but sometimes you have to let your body heal and adjust to the procedure before you see the final results. I followed everything that Dr. Albino instructed me to do and I could not be more pleased with my results. I would recommend him to anyone looking to do any cosmetic surgery or procedure.
