From the moment I came to the Center for Plastic Surgery, so much of that fear disappeared. My experience with both the Chevy Chase and Tysons offices has been amazing. I especially want to thank the entire Chevy Chase staff, from the front desk to everyone who helped me along the way. They were kind, patient, supportive, and never hesitated to help me with anything I needed. One day I even got lost trying to find the office, and someone walked about a block to come find me and help me get there. That kind of care says everything. A very special thank-you to Dr. Arjun P. Kanuri, who performed my surgery. He is an excellent doctor and a genuinely great guy. He is cool, patient, easy to talk to, and his personality is outstanding. He made me feel comfortable, listened to me, answered my questions, and never made me feel rushed. I truly felt that I was in good hands. I also want to thank everyone who was part of my operating-room team and the hospital staff who cared for me before, during, and after surgery. When I came out of surgery, they were still right there for me, making sure I was okay and helping me through those first moments of recovery. I will never forget that. This breast reduction gave me more than a physical lift — it gave me a lift in my confidence, comfort, and quality of life. It has truly changed my life. I had previously dealt with an insurance process that made this surgery feel like it would take forever. Here, everything moved so much more smoothly. I was approved in less than a month, and after seeing Dr. Kanuri, I was able to have my surgery within just a few weeks. What means the most is that the care did not stop after surgery. What started as a possible breast reduction surgical procedure to help with chronic back pain sadly became more complicated. I learned that I carry an unknown genetic mutation increasing my risk for breast, ovarian, and pancreatic cancers. I went from interviewing doctors to hiring one. After multiple consultations around the DC & Northern VA areas, I felt certain in my choice. For anyone facing a similarly complex and emotional decision, I would strongly recommend considering Dr. Frank Albino. What ultimately helped me make a decision was speaking with a few recently retired operating room nurses I knew that worked where my consultants practiced. Although they had not worked directly with my choices, they remained connected to colleagues who had. When asked who they would see for a reconstruction post-mastectomy, the response was 100% consistent and immediate: Dr. Albino. He was described as respectful, exceptionally skilled, highly educated, efficient, and—most notably—deeply kind. After meeting him myself, I found those descriptions to be entirely accurate. Dr. Albino is transparent, supportive, reassuring, and empathetic. He has a remarkable ability to take complex, fragmented information and synthesize it into a clear and thoughtful plan. His approach is both analytical and compassionate. In comparison to other offices, his stood out for its responsiveness. Calls were returned promptly, and communication was reliable. I’m indebted to Heather, Niya, Cameron, and many others for their continued guidance and compassion. The office was in constant communication through the entire process to make sure nothing was missed, especially with all my many questions and concerns. The act of scheduling the plastic surgeon, oncology surgeon, hospital, operating room, handling the insurance company, paperwork, pre-op & post-op exams and more went very smoothly on my end BECAUSE of them. I am so very grateful. Lastly, after meeting with the oncology surgeon, she was very happy to know that she would be working alongside Dr Albino. Dr. Albino of The Center for Plastic Surgery completely changed my life. I had a breast reduction mid January of this year after wanting one for so many years. I finally worked up the courage for a consultation and was immediately put at ease regarding my concerns, fears, and hopes. He even recommended that I get another opinion but I knew after the consultation that I trusted him to do the procedure. The process was smooth leading up to surgery, and the surgery day went great as well. Dr. Albino called later that night after surgery to check up on me which truly meant the world. He is an extremely caring, professional, and talented surgeon. Being able to look in the mirror and be happy with what you see reflected back is priceless. Dr Mesbahi is the very best!! Started with a nipple sparing breast reduction and then, subsequently, a bilateral mastectomy with DIEP flap reconstruction. He put me at ease, explained everything well, and I am extremely satisfied with the result. His care team is excellent as well. Highly recommend.

I have spent years too nervous to go in for a breast reduction but Dr. Fleury and his staff were so amazing. I felt so relaxed and at ease the entire time and now I'm actually excited to get the surgery done. He also made me feel very validated in my pain with how large my breasts are. I feel like a lot of doctors will tell you that it just comes with it but he was very understanding and has high hopes this will change my quality of life.

I had my Breast Reduction surgery with Dr. Kanuri and I am posting this review one month post op. I will update it in future with new improvements. Everyone from office staff to hospital staff were nice, professional and accommodating. My questions were all answered. Dr. Kanuri did a fantastic job reconstructing my breast size from DD(DDD) to a C+. To my surprise it didn’t hurt and I didn’t need to use supplementary pain killers at all. Incisions are clear and are healing. My breasts are now what I always liked them to be and the pressure on my back and neck has been reduced a lot. I also, liked the printed notes they gave my pre-op that had everything and Angel kindly walked me through every detail. I think I found what I was seeking for in a surgeon and that was commitment.
