The FACE360 consultation is an essential step in the facial rejuvenation process. You will have the opportunity to meet with one of our plastic surgeons, explain your ideas and goals for the procedure, and listen to their suggestions. You’ll never feel rushed or pressured. Most consultations take at least an hour as providers take as much time as needed to provide custom guidance and recommendations.
FACE360
The FACE360 procedure depends on your unique treatment plan. Our experienced surgeons will create a plan that incorporates all of your needs and treatments to create the best possible result. If you have combined facial enhancement procedures, such as a facelift with blepharoplasty, your surgeon may recommend combining these procedures in one surgical setting to reduce your recovery time.
Aesthetic or non-surgical treatments may be performed after you are fully healed, about one to two months postoperatively, before your surgery, or during your surgery, depending on the surgeon’s recommendation.
What Can I Expect From FACE360 Recovery?
Recovery time after FACE360 will vary greatly, as each patient will have different surgical and non-surgical procedures. Generally, a good guideline for determining recovery time is to expect a recovery that reflects the most extensive procedure; for example, rhinoplasty usually requires about seven to ten days of downtime, so that is the timeframe you should follow. Your surgeon will provide you with specific aftercare and recovery instructions that apply to the procedures you had.
You will likely be asked to avoid heavy lifting and strenuous activity for a few weeks as you heal. You may also be sent home with dressings or bandages and possible surgical drains. At your follow-up appointment, we will show you how to care for your incisions.
Pain should be manageable with over-the-counter medications or pain medications prescribed by your plastic surgeon. As you feel up to it, you should try some low-impact exercises like taking short walks to induce proper blood circulation and reduce the risk of blood clots.
FACE360 Recovery Timeline
FACE360 recovery is unique to the procedures and healing process of each patient, but a general timeline may look like the following:
Week One:
- Discomfort, bruising, and swelling are at their worst
- Limited mobility; patients may need to sleep in an adjusted position
- Potential drain or suture removal
- Bandages may be exchanged for a more lightweight option
Week Two:
- Most patients are starting to feel better
- Pain and swelling should be reduced
- Rhinoplasty patients may have their splints changed
- Some patients may be cleared to return to work and normal activities
- Continue to rest as much as possible
- Light walking is encouraged
Weeks Three and Four:
- Most patients can return to work
- Swelling should be reduced, with minor bruising remaining
- Patients may be cleared to increase physical activity
- You are “restaurant ready” and should feel comfortable in public with light makeup
Month Two:
- Patients will likely be looking and feeling much better, with minimal swelling or bruising
- Rhinoplasty patients will likely still have some residual swelling and bruising
- Some patients may begin their aesthetic treatments as part of their FACE360 program, depending on their surgeon’s plan
- Most patients will be able to see the advanced results of their facial surgeries
Month Three and Beyond:
- Patients will be healed from previous aesthetic treatments, such as laser resurfacing
- Patients will continue to heal over the next few months, with results continuing to improve

Is FACE360 an anti-aging procedure?
FACE360 is designed to be whatever the patient needs it to be. While facial rejuvenation is usually a core goal of this program for many patients, you certainly are not limited to “anti-aging” procedures. For example, some patients may have loose skin and jowls around the mid-face, likely needing a facelift. However, they may also want to enhance their facial balance with rhinoplasty, which isn’t considered an anti-aging procedure.
