Following your J-Plasma treatment, swelling and bruising will occur, which may take a few weeks to resolve. While most patients can return to normal activities after a few days, some patients may require more downtime. After about a year, patients can see final results and enjoy their tighter, more youthful look!

Your J-Plasma Treatment at Center for Plastic Surgery
The J-Plasma treatment is done in-office under local anesthesia and usually lasts between 1 to 3 hours, depending on the number of areas treated. Small incisions will be created in the areas to be treated, and the J-Plasma device will be inserted subdermally to emit cold plasma to instantly tighten and improve skin elasticity. Small stitches will be used to close the incisions, resulting in almost no scarring in the area.
Unlike other skin tightening treatments, only one J-Plasma treatment is needed. Patients can start to see some improvement soon after treatment, though results will continue to improve over the next several months to a year as new collagen continues to form.
