my name is Martha I had breast reconstruction with Dr Ral specifically a deep flap I came to the Center for plastic surgery because I had heard about women using their tissue their own tissue to create breasts in the event of a double masectomy and I found out that Dr raal was trained as a microsurgeon in this area and he performed that procedure so I wanted to come in and talk with him about whether or not I would be a candidate for it when I came in for the consultation he sat down and he just slowly went through the various options what were the benefits what were the risks um what was I interested in he listened to me he asked questions and I could tell that he was really interested in how I felt about it what I was thinking what was on my mind what did I want I found him as a surgeon and as a doctor he's honest he uh he tells you what he thinks would work well what he doesn't think would work well I came out of the consultation process and really had a sense of Hope in terms of what you know my future could look like I couldn't be happier with the results and with the process I went through I'm at like 34b I have a flat belly I feel very natural in my body combination I think really of the plastic surgery and my own way of modifying my my lifestyle has led to a totally different kind of body for me and one that I've really I appreciate and um am very thankful for
