Bilateral Mastectomy and Implant Reconstruction Case #4780
Description:
This patient underwent a bilateral mastectomy followed by immediate implant-based breast reconstruction. The “before” photos reflect her natural breast anatomy prior to surgery. The “after” photos show her results following reconstruction, designed to restore breast shape, symmetry, and proportion.
Using a carefully planned surgical approach, implants were placed to recreate natural contour while preserving chest wall balance and soft tissue harmony. Particular attention was given to implant selection, pocket positioning, and incision placement to optimize both aesthetic outcome and long-term support.
Her results demonstrate:
Restored breast volume and projection
Improved symmetry between both sides
Smooth upper pole contour
Balanced proportions relative to her frame
Natural-appearing shape in and out of clothing
Every reconstruction is individualized based on anatomy, tissue characteristics, oncologic treatment, and personal goals. Outcomes vary from patient to patient.
