Breast Reconstruction Case #306

Description:
Following a diagnosis requiring mastectomy, this patient underwent bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomies with immediate placement of tissue expanders as the first stage of breast reconstruction. During the expansion process, the breast skin and soft tissues were gradually prepared to accommodate her desired reconstruction goals. In a second-stage procedure, the tissue expanders were exchanged for silicone gel implants to create a softer, more natural look and feel.
Her after photos demonstrate restored breast volume, improved contour, and balanced symmetry while preserving the nipple-areola complex for a more natural aesthetic appearance. Careful attention was given to implant selection, breast shape, and overall proportion to achieve results that complement her frame. Individual outcomes following breast reconstruction vary based on anatomy, treatment history, healing characteristics, and surgical goals.
